Philippine Tea Tree Carmona retusa microphylla
I’m Tina, the Philippine Tea Tree, and native to Southeast Asia. I’m a medicinal plant in some countries, where my leaves are used as a tea substitute. I also get small white flowers throughout the year that hang like pendants, symbolizing courage and heart.I like bright ambient light but can acclimate to partial shade. To water, submerge my pot in water for 15 minutes. Submerge about once every 5 days.In spring and summer, water more often to be sure my pot doesn't completely dry out. Keep me in temperatures between 60 ̊-80 ̊F, and near a humidifer or tray of water in dry winters. When you spot one of my star-shaped flowers, make a wish.
