Philippine Tea Tree Carmona retusa microphylla I’m Tina, the Philippine Tea Tree, and native to Southeast Asia. I’m a medicinal plant in some countries, where my leaves are used as a tea substitute. I also get small white flowers throughout the year that hang like pendants, symbolizing courage and heart. I like bright ambient light but can acclimate to partial shade. To water, submerge my pot in water for 15 minutes. Submerge about once every 5 days. In spring and summer, water more often to be sure my pot doesn't completely dry out. Keep me in temperatures between 60 ̊-80 ̊F, and near a humidifer or tray of water in dry winters. When you spot one of my star-shaped flowers, make a wish.
